Course material, from the teacher’s desk to the student’s Classroom.
Alarab University Support is a tutoring centre in North Lebanon. More than twenty specialists, holding Master’s degrees or working towards a PhD, support university students through their first years — at the Lebanese University, the University of Balamand and LIU.
What this application does
AUS Classroom Manager is the centre’s internal tool for getting recorded lessons and course documents in front of students. A teacher signs in, chooses the course and lesson they are working on, and uploads their file. The application stores it in the centre’s own Google Drive and publishes it to the matching Google Classroom class as an announcement, material or assignment.
The point of it is that teachers never need the centre’s Google account password, and never have to organise Drive folders or open Classroom themselves. One account owns the library; the tool acts on its behalf.
Upload once
A teacher uploads a lesson recording or document straight from the browser.
Filed automatically
It lands in the centre Google Drive, in the right folder for that university, course and lesson.
Published to the class
The centre account posts it to the linked Google Classroom class, with the file attached.
Who can use it
Accounts are created by a centre administrator for the centre’s own teachers and staff. It is not open to the public, and students never sign in. For the classes the centre itself teaches, the application does read the class roster from Google Classroom — each enrolled student’s name and email address — so the centre has a register of who is in which class. It does not read student submissions, grades or coursework, and it never posts on a student’s behalf.
