Terms of service
Effective 9 September 2026
AUS Classroom Manager (“the service”) is operated by Alarab University Support (“AUS”, “we”) in North Lebanon. These terms apply to everyone who signs in to it.
Who may use it
The service is for teachers and administrators of the centre. Accounts are created by an administrator; you may not create one yourself, and you may not share your account or your password with anyone else.
What it does
It lets an authorised teacher upload course media, which is stored in the centre’s Google Drive, and publish it to the centre’s Google Classroom classes. Posts are created by the centre’s Google account rather than by your own.
Your responsibilities
Upload only material you have the right to distribute to the centre’s students. Do not upload anything unlawful, malicious, or unrelated to teaching at the centre. Keep your password to yourself and tell an administrator at once if you think someone else has used your account.
You remain responsible for what you publish. Content posted to Google Classroom is visible to the students of the class you post it to.
Publishing is not reversible from here
Once a post has been created in Google Classroom, this service cannot withdraw or delete it — the Google Classroom API provides no way to do so. A post that needs removing must be removed in Google Classroom itself, by someone with access to the class.
Availability
The service depends on Google Drive and Google Classroom, which are outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may take the service down for maintenance. It is provided to the centre’s staff as is, without warranty of any kind.
Suspension
An administrator may suspend or remove an account at any time, in particular when an account is misused or when someone leaves the centre.
Data
What the service collects and how it is handled is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may revise these terms; the effective date above changes when we do, and staff are notified of anything material.
